Chocolate self saucing pudding

Chocolate Self Saucing Pudding with a warm, moist chocolate cake and a beautiful silky chocolate sauce, all baked in one pan! Easy and fast.


Ingredients


1 large egg


20g butter (melted)


60ml milk




You will need:


Mixing bowl


Whisk


Spatula


Sauce pan (20cm x 14cm x 5cm)




Method


  • Heat the oven to 180c & grease baking dish

  • Whisk egg, 100ml full cream milk and apricot jam. Add cake mix and whisk until smooth. Spoon batter into baking dish.

  • Add sauce mix to 150ml boiling water & mix until dissolved.

  • Carefully pour sauce over the back of a table spoon to cover the batter & sauce layer mix.

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes till top is slightly crusty and bounces back when pressed gently

  • Serve immediately.
